The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is a 1U rack server built for hybrid environments that run databases and virtualisation. It ships with dual Xeon Silver 4410y 12-Core processors at 2.00 GHz with 30MB cache and up to 3.90 GHz turbo. The system includes 512GB of DDR5-4800MHz ECC buffered memory across 16 modules of 32GB each. Storage consists of 15.36TB provided by eight 1.92TB enterprise 2.5-inch SATA III SSDs. Windows Server 2022 Standard 64-bit with a 16-core licence is included.

Check power, rack space and installation capacity

This server requires a rack cabinet that accepts 1U form-factor equipment and provides redundant power connections for the hot-swappable supplies. Network connectivity uses an embedded four-port 1GbE OCP3 adapter, so confirm your switch has compatible ports. The MR408i-o Gen11 storage controller occupies an OCP slot with x8 lanes and 4GB cache. All 16 memory modules and eight drives are supplied separately and must be installed before deployment, so allow time and technical resource for assembly.

Bundled OS licence and remote management simplify

Windows Server 2022 Standard covers 16 cores for physical or lightly virtualised installations, removing the need to procure a separate licence. HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 Standard with Intelligent Provisioning enables remote firmware updates, hardware monitoring and OS installation without physical console access. The included rail kit secures the chassis in standard racks, while dual redundant power supplies keep workloads running during a single supply failure.
