Triple-monitor USB-C adapter for multitasking

This KEHIPI adapter converts a single USB-C port into three independent HDMI outputs, letting Windows or Mac users spread work across four separate screens. It supports extended and mirror modes through MST, so each display can show different content. A built-in 100 W Power Delivery port passes up to 90 W to the host laptop, reducing cable clutter on the desk. Driver installation and a restart are required before the first use.

One 4K60 port plus two 1080p60 ports

The first HDMI output drives a monitor at 4K resolution and 60 Hz, while the second and third outputs are limited to 1080p at 60 Hz; all three can run simultaneously. For reliable 1080p signals, HDMI 1.4 cables should not exceed 9.8 ft and HDMI 2.0 cables should not exceed 16.4 ft. For 4K at 60 Hz, HDMI 2.0 cables should not exceed 9.8 ft. Bandwidth is shared, so driving three high-resolution panels may reduce refresh headroom on the 4K output.

Upgrades single-output dongles

Users moving from a basic USB-C to HDMI dongle gain two extra external displays without adding a separate dock. The adapter is worthwhile when the host has a full-function Thunderbolt port or a USB 3.0 port with DP Alt Mode 1.2 or higher, running Windows 10 or Mac OS 12 and above. It is not suited for systems lacking DP Alt Mode, for setups needing more than three external screens, or for Mac users who require the ABCD extended layout, which macOS does not support.
