Universal SATA IDE Adapter

The LUOM SA28 connects 2.5 or 3.5 SATA and IDE hard drives to a computer through USB 3.0 or Type-C. It supports optical drives and both 40-pin and 44-pin IDE interfaces. The kit includes a 12V 2A power adapter for 3.5 drives.

Thermals Noise Power

The adapter draws power from the included 12V 2A supply and the host USB port. No active cooling is present, so operation is silent. An on/off switch cuts power to the attached drive for protection during idle periods.

Build Connectors Mounting

A dual-head IDE connector and a single SATA II connector cover legacy and current drives. LED indicators show power and activity status. Hot-swap support allows drive changes without rebooting. The USB 3.0 interface is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1.
