ECC SODIMM kit for servers and workstations

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR4 3200 modules with ECC and a CL22 latency. It runs at 1.20 V on the standard 260-pin SODIMM form factor. The unbuffered design targets systems that require error correction without registered memory.

Sustained load behaviour with ECC active

Modules are stress tested under load to verify stability during continuous operation. ECC corrects single-bit errors in real time, preventing data corruption in long-running workloads. The 1Rx8 organisation and major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix maintain consistent timing at 3200 MT/s.

Upgrade path from non-ECC or lower-capacity SODIMMs

Replaces non-ECC SODIMMs in platforms that support ECC unbuffered memory, adding error detection for critical data. The jump is worth it when the motherboard and CPU enable ECC and the application cannot tolerate silent corruption. Not for systems limited to non-ECC memory or requiring registered DIMMs.
