This 64GB kit contains two 32GB registered DDR5 modules built for the ASRock TRX50 WS workstation motherboard. Each module runs at 4800 MT/s with a CL40 latency and operates at 1.10V using a 1Rx4 organisation. The ECC RDIMM design adds error correction and signal buffering for stable operation under sustained server workloads.

DDR5 4800 registered DIMM constraints

The DDR5 4800 standard sets the baseline transfer rate and voltage for this platform. Registered DIMMs add a clock cycle of buffering, which improves signal integrity on heavily populated boards but prevents use in consumer desktop sockets that expect unbuffered modules. ECC functionality requires a motherboard and CPU that both support error correction; without that support the extra parity bits provide no benefit.

CL40 latency at 4800 MT/s

CAS latency 40 at 4800 MT/s determines the minimum access delay for every read or write operation. This timing is fixed by the JEDEC DDR5 4800 specification and cannot be tightened without modules rated for lower latency. Buyers who need lower latency must select memory validated for faster CL values at the same or higher data rate.
