Vertical 3.5-inch SATA enclosure
The Orico 7688U3 is a single-bay aluminium enclosure that accepts one 3.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD up to 16TB. It connects to a PC, laptop, smart TV or other host via a USB 3.0 port and includes a 12V 2A power adapter for desktop-class drives.
USB 3.0 host connection with UASP
The enclosure plugs into any USB 3.0 port and supports the UASP protocol for reduced latency. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS or Linux, and the vertical dock design saves desk space while the screw-mounted chassis keeps the drive secure.
Aluminium heat dissipation under load
The aluminium body acts as a heatsink, drawing heat away from the drive during sustained transfers. An intelligent sleep function spins the drive down after inactivity, and a blue LED indicator shows power and activity status without interrupting long copy jobs.
