The Vantec NexStar JX Series NST-258S3-BK is a lightweight ABS enclosure that turns a single 2.5" SATA III SSD or HDD into a portable USB drive. It accepts drives from 7 mm to 9.5 mm thick and requires no external power supply. The tool-less design lets you swap drives in seconds without a screwdriver. USB 3.2 Gen2x1 Type-C connectivity
A native USB Type-C port delivers up to 10 Gbps bandwidth and supports UASP, TRIM and SMART for efficient data handling. The included cable terminates in USB-C and a USB-A adapter, so the enclosure plugs into both modern and legacy ports. The unit weighs only 85 g and enters sleep mode automatically when the host system sleeps, saving power during idle periods.
