Simple toggle sensor for electronics projects
This breakout board provides a single capacitive touch sensor with toggle behaviour. It operates without any microcontroller, so hobbyists and engineers can add touch control to a project using only a power supply. The board is powered from 1.8 to 5.5VDC and activates when a finger touches the onboard pad. It suits prototypes that need a simple on-off switch.
Compact breakout with solderable pad and LED jumper
The board includes a built-in capacitive pad and a red LED that shows the output state. A jumper trace lets you disconnect the LED to reduce power draw when needed. The middle pad accepts a soldered wire so you can extend the touch area to a custom shape or surface. This layout makes it easy to integrate into enclosures or wearable designs.
Toggle output alternates high and low on each touch
The sensor switches its output pin high on the first touch and low on the second, repeating the cycle with every press. This behaviour matches a classic latching switch without any moving parts. The output can drive logic-level inputs directly, letting you control LEDs, relays or other modules. No programming or additional components are required for basic operation.
