Alphacool Aurora XPX Digital RGB Frame

This black POM frame adds digital RGB lighting to an Eisblock XPX Plexi or Satin CPU cooler. It contains 15 digitally addressable LEDs arranged around the full perimeter of the block. The frame slips over the cooler without screws and does not require the cooler to be removed from the motherboard. It is intended for builders who want addressable lighting on an existing XPX cooler.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that the installed CPU cooler is an Alphacool Eisblock XPX Plexi or Satin model, as the frame fits only those variants. Ensure the motherboard or a separate controller provides a standard 3-pin digital RGB header for the 72 cm cable. The integrated Y-adapter allows daisy-chaining further Alphacool digital RGB products on the same header. Buyers without an XPX cooler or a 3-pin digital RGB header cannot use this frame.

Build quality and daily use

The frame measures 75 x 75 x 17 mm and is moulded from black POM for a precise, tool-free fit that stays secure once pressed into place. Fifteen addressable LEDs circle the cooler edge, delivering even illumination around the block.
