AM5 socket for Ryzen 7000 8000 9000 series
The board uses the AMD B850 chipset and AM5 socket to support Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with Ryzen 9000 and 7000 CPUs, while Ryzen 8000 CPUs run the primary slot at PCIe 4.0 x16. Dual-channel DDR5 memory reaches up to 8000+ MT/s via AMD EXPO profiles across four 288-pin slots.
8-layer PCB with 80A DrMOS power stages
An 8-layer PCB carries 8+2+1 80A DrMOS power stages fed by 8+4 pin ProCool connectors, alloy chokes and durable capacitors. Enlarged VRM heatsinks, a flexible M.2 heatsink and PCH heatsink combine with hybrid fan headers and Fan Xpert 4 for thermal control. PCIe Slot Q-Release, M.2 Q-Latch, Q-Antenna, Q-Dashboard, Q-LED and BIOS FlashBack simplify assembly and troubleshooting.
256GB DDR5 capacity and PCIe 5.0 M.2 headroom
Four slots accept up to 256GB of non-ECC un-buffered DDR5, giving ample headroom for heavy multitasking and content creation. One M.2 2280 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 9000 and 7000 CPUs, while two additional M.2 2280 slots operate at PCIe 4.0 x4. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for bulk storage arrays.
