The Dell PowerEdge R540 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors running at 2.10 GHz with 16 cores each. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots. The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hot-swap drive bays and a PERC H330 storage controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and 50. Dual 750 W redundant power supplies and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management are included.
