The Kingston NV3 500GB is an internal solid state drive built for desktops, laptops and portable game devices. It uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface with 3D TLC NAND and a Phison PS5021-E21 controller. The single-sided M.2 2280 PCB fits thin chassis and compact hosts. It targets faster game loading and file rendering for everyday use.
Low power draw and passive cooling
Typical active power consumption is 3.2W and idle consumption is 0.07W. The drive generates little heat and operates without an extra heatsink. Shock resistance reaches 1000G and vibration resistance covers 5G at 10–2000Hz and 20G at 10–1000Hz. These traits keep the SSD stable in mobile and desktop environments.
Single-sided design frees motherboard space
The M.2 2280 form factor plugs directly into a standard M.2 slot with no additional mounting hardware. Single-sided layout leaves clearance for tight motherboards and small-form-factor builds.
