This OWC kit supplies 512GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory across four 128GB modules. It is built for HP ProLiant DL325 Gen11, DL345 Gen11, DL360 Gen11, DL365 Gen11 and DL380 Gen11 servers that require registered DIMMs with error correction.
The registered buffer and on-die ECC let the memory controller manage heavy loads without signal degradation. Standard desktop boards cannot use these modules, and they must not be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs in the same system.
Each module fits the 288-pin DDR5 slot at 1.1V with CL40 timing and 4Rx4 organisation. No heat spreader is included, so airflow in the server chassis handles cooling. The kit is validated for the listed ProLiant Gen11 platforms only.
