Its IP65-rated front panel and fanless aluminum chassis are designed for continuous operation in dusty, wet or vibration-prone industrial settings. The projected capacitive touchscreen supports multi-touch input rated beyond 50 million touches, removing the need for separate peripherals in tight control cabinets.

Sustained Load Behaviour in a Sealed Enclosure

Because the unit relies on passive cooling through its alloy shell, the i5-3317U maintains its performance envelope without acoustic noise or moving parts that can fail in dirty environments. The DC 12 V input (with an optional 9–36 V wide-range option) feeds the board directly, avoiding internal power-supply heat.
