The RIMLANCE kit provides 256 GB of DDR5 registered ECC memory in a matched pair of 128 GB modules. It is intended for servers and workstations that require error-correcting, registered DIMMs for data integrity. Buyers needing non-ECC or unbuffered memory for consumer platforms cannot use this product.
Registered buffering and on-die ECC reduce electrical load on the memory controller and correct single-bit errors automatically. These features improve stability in multi-DIMM configurations and protect data in critical workloads. Systems without registered DDR5 support will not accept these modules.
The modules run at 5600 MT/s (PC5-44800) with a CAS latency of 46 at 1.1 V. This speed rating determines whether the kit matches the platform's qualified memory list. If the server requires a different data rate or voltage, the kit will not be compatible.
