Server-registered DDR4 module

This RIMLANCE module is a 16GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM with ECC and registered buffering. It targets administrators upgrading or repairing DDR4 server and workstation platforms that require registered memory. The single-rank 1Rx8 organisation uses major-brand DRAM chips validated for continuous operation. Buyers needing unbuffered UDIMMs or non-ECC memory for consumer desktops cannot use this module.

DDR4-3200 interface ceiling

The module runs at the JEDEC DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600) data rate with CL22 latency at 1.2V. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of address/command delay, which is mandatory for the platform memory controller. Systems limited to lower DDR4 speeds will down-clock the module automatically. Platforms that do not support registered DIMMs or the DDR4 standard cannot accept this memory at all.

16GB single-rank capacity

One module provides 16GB in a single 1Rx8 rank, leaving additional DIMM slots free for further expansion up to the platform limit. The registered design allows higher total system capacities than unbuffered alternatives on compatible multi-socket servers. Workloads requiring more than 16GB per channel or densities beyond the motherboard's supported maximum will need additional modules or higher-density RDIMMs.
