The SXDOOL SXD5010S05M is a 50 by 50 by 10 mm axial fan that runs on 5 V and draws 0.12 A through a two-pin connector. It targets compact enclosures, small-form-factor PCs and embedded boards where a thin, low-voltage cooler is required.

Capacity and headroom

At 5 V the fan spins at high speed while producing only 5 to 10 dBA, so it suits noise-sensitive builds that need steady airflow across tight component stacks. The operating range spans -10 °C to +70 °C, and the power tolerance of ±15 % means output stays consistent even if the rail fluctuates. It is not suited for high-wattage heat loads that demand larger blade areas or higher static pressure.

Build and daily use

The frame and blades are moulded from PBT with 30 % glass fibre and a VO flame-retardant rating, giving structural rigidity in a 10 mm profile. Double ball bearings are rated for 80 000 hours at 25 °C ambient, and insulation resistance exceeds 500 megohms. Counter-clockwise rotation and the two-pin lead imply fixed-speed operation without PWM control, so the installer must provide a steady 5 V source or an external speed controller.
