It ships fully assembled and tested with a 6-core Intel Xeon D-1726 processor, 32 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and twelve pre-installed 24 TB Synology Enterprise drives providing 288 TB of raw capacity. This configuration targets organisations that need immediate, high-capacity deployment without manual drive installation.

Check rack space power and network infrastructure

Verify that your rack provides a 2U slot measuring at least 88 mm in height, 482 mm in width and 724 mm in depth, and that it can support a unit weighing 14.5 kg. Ensure the facility supplies 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz for the dual redundant power supplies. Confirm that your network core offers 10GBASE-T switching to utilise the two onboard 10 GbE RJ-45 ports and the included dual-port 10 GbE adapter, and that DHCP or static IP management is configured for the out-of-band management port.

The twelve 24 TB enterprise drives arrive pre-installed and RAID-ready, eliminating drive mounting, cabling and initial volume creation. The factory-fitted Synology 2-port 10 GbE adapter occupies one PCIe Gen 4 x8 slot, instantly adding two extra 10GBASE-T links for link aggregation or failover without separate procurement. The 32 GB DDR4 ECC memory kit is installed and validated, so the system is ready for virtualization or heavy multi-user workloads the moment it powers on.
