TerraMaster D4-300 80TB DAS enclosure
The TerraMaster D4-300 is a four-bay direct-attached storage enclosure that connects through a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 interface. It accepts 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA drives and provides up to 80TB of total capacity. The aluminium chassis includes a temperature-controlled fan for quiet operation. No drivers are required for Windows, macOS or Linux.
Suited to single-system backup and NAS expansion
This unit fits users who need large local storage for photos, video, documents or music on one computer or who want to add capacity to a compatible TerraMaster NAS. It does not support RAID, so buyers who need hardware redundancy or multi-user network access should consider a NAS appliance instead.
Single-system USB 3.1 Gen1 connection
The enclosure relies on a single USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C link for both data and power to the host. That 5Gbps connection determines the maximum transfer rate and means the device serves only one computer at a time unless attached to a NAS that can share it.
