It accepts drive heights of 7mm, 9.5mm, 12.5mm and 15mm, covering both SSDs and notebook hard drives. The single-piece black bracket is designed for consumers and builders who need to add 2.5" storage to a 3.5" slot.

Build integration

The converter uses a 7-pin SATA interface that also supports single-channel SAS when the host controller provides it, requiring no extra cables or adapters beyond the standard SATA data and power connections. Tool-less drive installation lets you secure the 2.5" device inside the bracket quickly, while universal mounting holes align with existing 3.5" bay screws.
