This 16 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM module is built for servers and workstations that require error-correcting unbuffered memory. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation and CL15 timing suit platforms qualified for DDR4-2133 operation. Desktop and laptop systems cannot use this module.
The stick runs at the DDR4 standard 1.2 V, so power draw and heat output remain within normal limits for registered server DIMMs. No additional cooling or voltage adjustments are needed when the host platform supports the rated speed.
