The Acumen Disc H03-SATA150 is a standalone duplicator that copies one source SATA drive to up to three target drives simultaneously. It accepts both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard disks and solid-state drives without requiring an adapter. The unit operates independently with no computer or software connection needed, providing a secure environment for drive duplication and sanitisation tasks.

Standalone operation with slot-load bays

Each target bay uses a slot-load design that holds 3.5" or 2.5" SATA drives directly, freeing the user from caddies or adapter cables. The device runs from an internal AC power supply rated for 115-230 V at 50/60 Hz, so it only needs a mains outlet to function. Because it does not connect to a host system, it leaves the host's SATA ports and operating system completely unaffected during long copy or erase jobs.

150 MB/s copy speed with multiple erase modes

The duplicator transfers data at up to 150 MB/s per target slot and supports two copy modes: System and Files for quick copies, and Whole HDD for sector-by-sector imaging. Four erase modes are available, including Quick Erase, Full Erase, and DoD 3-pass and 7-pass methods compliant with the 5220.22-M standard. There is no capacity ceiling, so drives of any size can be processed, though the SATA I interface limits throughput to the stated rate.
