Resistor pack for breadboard prototyping
This 25 pack supplies 10K ohm carbon film resistors rated at 1/4 watt and 5 percent tolerance. The .4 millimetre leads plug securely into solderless breadboards, perf-boards or any through-hole project. They suit hobbyists, students and engineers building or repairing circuits. No other values or quantities are included.
Passive components generate no heat or noise
Resistors of this type dissipate up to 1/4 watt during normal operation and remain silent. They draw only the current dictated by the surrounding circuit and require no active cooling. Power handling stays within the stated 300 volt maximum across the element.
25 pieces at a single 10K ohm value
The pack contains exactly twenty-five identical resistors, so every lead pair measures 10K ohm. Projects needing multiple values, surface-mount parts or higher power ratings will need additional components.

Spørgsmål om denne vare
How do I install the 10K ohm carbon film resistors onto a solderless breadboard?
Push the 0.4mm thick axial leads straight into the breadboard holes until the resistor body sits flush; the common mistake is bending the leads beforehand, which makes insertion harder.
What maintenance or replacement will the 25 pack of 10K ohm 1/4W resistors need later?
No scheduled maintenance is required; replace any resistor that exceeds its 1/4W dissipation or 300V limit, or that shows physical damage after prolonged use.
What limit shows up first when the 10K ohm 1/4W carbon film resistors run under sustained load?
The 1/4W power rating is reached before the 300V voltage limit, so sustained current that would dissipate more than 1/4W is the first constraint.
