DDR5 memory support up to 8400 MTs and 256 GB

Four 288 pin DDR5 slots run dual channel with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. The validated ceiling is 8400 MTs overclocked and the maximum capacity is 256 GB using unbuffered modules with ECC support. This specification decides whether the board matches your memory kit and capacity plans.

Pre fitted I/O shield and clear M.2 layout

A flexible integrated I/O shield removes the separate plate step during case installation. The CPU provides two Blazing M.2 sockets at 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 and the chipset adds further M.2 and two SATA 6Gb/s ports. M.2 RAID 0 1 10 is supported. Usual issues are M.2 screw loss and verifying the primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at Gen5 x16 with 7000 and 9000 series CPUs but drops to Gen4 x8 or x4 with 8000 series Phoenix 1 and Phoenix 2 parts.
