The Athena Power AP-1U80P868 is a single 800W EPS12V unit built for 1U rackmount chassis with a 200 mm depth. It targets integrators who need Platinum-class efficiency in a compact industrial frame. The supply delivers 12V at 64A and includes a 12V-2X6 cable for modern GPU or compute cards. It operates on 90-264V input without a voltage switch.
The 200 mm long by 40.5 mm high enclosure slides into standard 1U rails and secures with four screws. Dual 40 mm ball-bearing fans at front and rear pull air through the unit; a smart controller adjusts speed automatically based on temperature. The main 20+4 pin and EPS 8-pin plus 8(4+4) pin connectors are fixed, so cable routing space behind the motherboard tray must be checked before mounting. Remote on/off and active PFC are built in.
Confirm the chassis accepts a 200 mm deep 1U supply and that the rear panel cutout matches the IEC inlet. Ensure the motherboard requires both an 8-pin and an 8(4+4) pin EPS connector; some boards use only one. The 12V-2X6 lead supports PCIe 5.0 devices, but the total 12V current remains 64A across all loads. Input frequency range is 47-63 Hz and hold-up time is 11 ms at nominal voltage.
