This module delivers 128 GB of PC4-25600 DDR4-3200 memory in a 4Rx4 ECC LRDIMM form factor. It is built for administrators scaling memory capacity in compatible HPE server platforms. The load-reduced design helps maintain signal integrity on heavily populated channels. Buyers needing non-ECC or standard UDIMM modules cannot use this part.
Installation requires a server motherboard that accepts DDR4 LRDIMM modules and supports 4Rx4 rank configurations with ECC enabled. The module frees additional DIMM slots by concentrating 128 GB into a single stick, allowing higher total system memory within the same chassis. Systems limited to UDIMM or RDIMM form factors will not accept this module.
The 4Rx4 organisation spreads workload across four ranks, reducing per-rank electrical load during sustained read and write cycles. ECC corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing data corruption during long-running compute or virtualisation tasks. Workloads that exceed the platform's maximum supported rank count per channel will not benefit from this density.

The 4Rx4 organisation presents four logical ranks per module, so the platform’s maximum rank-per-channel limit determines how many 128GB LRDIMMs can be populated.
LRDIMMs use a buffer chip that adds a few watts over standard RDIMMs; at 3200 MT/s the module typically draws 8–12 W, so plan for additional airflow in dense configurations.
The board must support DDR4 LRDIMM with ECC and provide a registered DIMM slot; standard unbuffered consumer slots will not work.
