This ESTONE expansion card adds five SuperSpeed USB 3.2 ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express x1 lane. Three ports use the USB-C connector and two use the traditional USB-A connector, each capable of up to 10 Gbps data throughput. The card draws power directly from the slot and includes a driver CD for older operating systems. It fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 socket on motherboards compliant with PCIe 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0.

Desktop owners needing more high-speed ports

The card suits builders who have a free PCIe slot and want to connect multiple USB-C and USB-A peripherals such as external drives, cameras or input devices at 10 Gbps. It is not suited for systems that lack an available PCI Express slot or for users who require USB Power Delivery charging or video output from the USB-C ports.
