This ESTONE PCIE23A2C card adds five USB 3.0 ports to a desktop computer through a PCI Express x1 slot. It provides two USB-C and three USB-A connectors for connecting additional peripherals. The card supports Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or later with a driver installation.

PCI Express x1 Interface

The card installs into any available PCI Express x1 slot and is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 motherboards. This single-lane connection determines the maximum aggregate bandwidth available to all five ports combined. No external power cable is required as the card draws power directly from the slot.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour

Each port can reach up to 5.0 Gbps when used individually, though actual speeds depend on the connected device. Under sustained load across multiple ports, the shared PCIe x1 lane and controller limit total throughput.
