Torrent RGB ATX Mid Tower

The Fractal Design Torrent RGB is a black steel mid-tower with tempered glass panels and ARGB lighting. It accepts E-ATX, ATX, mATX, ITX, SSI-EEB and SSI-CEB motherboards. Five PWM fans are pre-installed: two 180 mm units at the front and three 140 mm units at the bottom. The open front grille feeds those large fans directly.

180 mm Prisma ARGB front fans

Two newly developed 180 x 38 mm Prisma AL-18 fans sit behind the open grille to maximise intake volume. Their PWM control adjusts speed to thermal demand while ARGB illumination syncs with compatible motherboards. This fan size is the single specification that determines whether the case matches a build focused on high-volume, low-noise airflow.

Sustained airflow under load

The bottom trio of 140 mm Prisma AL-14 fans exhausts heat through the ventilated base, creating a vertical flow path that scales with component load. Radiator support up to 420 mm at front and bottom allows push-pull liquid loops to maintain low coolant temperatures during extended sessions. Dust filters on the front and bottom preserve this performance without frequent cleaning.
