Dense 1U rack server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits two Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 processors and 32GB of DDR4 memory into a single rack unit. Redundant 500W hot-swap power supplies keep the system running through a module failure. Eight SFF bays with H240ar RAID

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays connect to the Smart HBA H240ar controller which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA links. Two 600GB 15K SAS drives are installed; the remaining six bays accept additional SAS or SATA drives. The controller replaces a basic HBA and makes the jump worthwhile when you need hardware RAID without a separate PCIe card.
