The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 is a 1U rackmount server populated with two Intel Xeon Gold 6226R processors running at 2.9 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed, and the chassis provides eight 2.5-inch drive bays. It is aimed at IT teams deploying virtualisation hosts, database nodes or high-density compute clusters.

Sustained multi-thread throughput

Each Gold 6226R delivers sixteen cores with a 22 MB cache, giving thirty-two threads across the pair for continuous parallel workloads. The Smart Array P408 SAS controller manages SATA drives with hardware RAID offload, keeping storage latency predictable during extended backup or analytics jobs. Dual 500 W Flex Slot power supplies share the load, reducing thermal stress on any single unit during long runs.

Storage and expansion ceiling

The eight-bay 2.5-inch backplane caps internal raw capacity at the number of bays multiplied by the largest supported drive. PCIe slots are limited to the low-profile, half-length form factor imposed by the 1U height, so full-height accelerators or additional multi-port NICs cannot be fitted. Network I/O is provided by an Intel I350/X540 card delivering two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports.
