Sequential throughput reaches 7400 MB/s read and 6600 MB/s write on a PCIe 4.0 platform. On a PCIe 3.0 slot the same drive will be limited to the 3.0 ceiling, so peak speeds cannot be realised. Random performance tops out at 720 000 read IOPS and 800 000 write IOPS.
