The Lite-On DS-8ACSH-01 is a 12.7mm height SATA DVD burner designed for notebook computers and compact systems. It reads all CD and DVD media formats and writes to write-once and rewritable discs. Intelligent features such as SMART-BURN and SMART-X optimise burning quality and reading speed. The drive includes a 500KB buffer and supports vertical mounting.
Suits notebook upgrades and external enclosures
This unit fits laptops or small-form-factor PCs that accept a 12.7mm SATA optical drive. It also works in an external enclosure when a portable optical drive is required. 8X DVD and 24X CD performance
Maximum write speeds reach 8X for DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD-R, 6X for DVD-RW and dual-layer DVD media, and 24X for CD-R and CD-RW.
