Dual-bay M.2 dock with SD Express base
The MAIWO K3016CL accepts two M.2 drives and one SD Express card at the same time. It handles SATA and NVMe protocols across the M.2 slots and reads SD cards of version 7.0 and 7.1. The unit connects to a host through a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port running at 10Gbps. No driver installation is required on Windows, Linux or Mac OS.
Standalone cloning frees the host system
Offline copy runs without a computer attached; press the single button to start one of four modes: NVMe to SATA, SATA to NVMe, SD to NVMe or SD to SATA. An indicator LED shows progress while the source and target drives sit in the two M.2 bays or the SD slot. A 5V/3A adapter powers the dock so the host USB port only carries data. The same hardware also works as a regular external enclosure when plugged into a PC, phone or console that supports OTG.
Passive cooling sustains long transfers
The ABS chassis relies on bottom ventilation holes instead of a fan, so airflow depends on the surface underneath. During extended clone jobs or large file moves the drives sit in open bays with direct exposure to that passive airflow. The external power brick keeps voltage stable for both M.2 slots and the SD slot simultaneously, preventing throttling that can occur on bus-powered hubs.
