Capacity and compatibility

This NEMIX RAM kit provides 768GB of DDR4 memory across six 128GB registered DIMMs. It is built for THINKMATE Supermicro SuperServer platforms including the 620P-TR, 620P-TRT, 220P-C9R and 220P-C9RT. The modules target enterprise servers and workstations that require large-capacity ECC memory for mission-critical workloads.

DDR4 3200 registered limits

The modules run at DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) with a CAS latency of CL22 and operate at 1.20V. Registered buffering and 4Rx4 organisation allow the platform to address the full 768GB kit, but the registered design adds one clock cycle of latency and requires a motherboard chipset that supports registered ECC DIMMs. Mixing with unbuffered or lower-rank modules will prevent the system from posting.

Build and daily handling

Each 288-pin DIMM uses major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips and has no heat spreader, so airflow across the PCB is essential in dense server chassis. The six-module kit fills all available slots on compatible boards, leaving no room for future expansion. Handle the modules by the edges to avoid contaminating the gold contacts before installation.
