Server Memory Kit

This OWC kit provides 1TB of DDR4 ECC Load Reduced memory across eight 128GB modules. It is built for Dell PowerEdge MX750c, R650 and R750 servers that require registered LRDIMM technology. The modules operate at 3200MHz with CL22 latency and 1.2V power draw. Buyers using standard desktops or workstations that accept only unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs cannot use this kit.

288-Pin LRDIMM Form Factor

Each module uses the 288-pin LRDIMM form factor with 4Rx4 organisation and no heat spreader. The load-reduced buffer reduces electrical load on the server memory controller, allowing higher capacities per channel. The kit is JEDEC-standard and RoHS compliant, ensuring mechanical and electrical fit in the listed PowerEdge systems. Mixing these modules with unbuffered or standard registered ECC memory is not supported.

1TB Total Capacity

The eight-module configuration delivers 1TB of total system memory, suited for virtualisation, large databases and memory-intensive workloads on compatible Dell PowerEdge platforms. Speed falls back automatically to 2933MHz, 2666MHz, 2400MHz or 2133MHz when the server requires a lower data rate. Systems needing a different capacity, rank structure or unbuffered memory must select an alternative kit.
