Registered buffering reduces electrical loading on the memory controller, letting all four channels sustain the rated 2133 MT/s transfer rate during extended workloads. ECC corrects single-bit errors on the fly, preventing silent corruption during long render, virtualization or database jobs. The JEDEC-standard 1.2V operation keeps power draw predictable across the full population.

Bare green PCB fits dense slots

Modules use a plain 288-pin PCB without heat spreaders, so they sit flush in tightly spaced server DIMM sockets and 1U chassis. The lack of tall heatsinks avoids interference with CPU coolers or airflow baffles in rackmount NAS models such as the FS3017, FS2017 and RS18017xs+. Buyers needing unbuffered desktop DIMMs or load-reduced ECC cannot use this kit.
