Six-port SATA expansion card

The RIITOP PCES36P+CB adds six SATA 3.0 ports through a single PCIe x4 slot. It is aimed at builders who need more internal drive connections for storage arrays or backup drives. The card uses the ASMedia ASM1166 chipset and provides AHCI support without RAID functionality.

Included cables and bracket change the install

Six SATA 3.0 cables ship in the box so every port can be populated immediately. A low-profile bracket is also supplied, allowing the card to fit in slim or half-height chassis where a full-height bracket would not clear the case.

PCIe x4 slot required; no boot support

Installation needs a free PCIe x4 or larger slot; the card will not work in an x1 slot. The controller cannot boot an operating system drive, so it is only suitable for additional data drives. Drivers are native to modern operating systems, and the single-chip design avoids extra configuration steps.
