This 64GB kit contains four 16GB DDR3 modules built for server and workstation platforms that require ECC protection. Each stick runs at 1600MHz with a CL11 latency and operates at the low 1.35V voltage level. The 240-pin unbuffered design fits standard DDR3 DIMM slots in compatible systems.
The 1.35V operating voltage reduces power draw and heat output compared to standard 1.5V DDR3, helping keep server chassis temperatures lower under sustained loads. CL11 timing at 1600MHz delivers stable throughput without pushing voltage or frequency into noisy territory. ECC circuitry adds a small overhead but runs silently with no active cooling required.
This kit replaces lower-capacity DDR3 sets or non-ECC modules when data integrity and maximum slot population are needed. The jump is worth it for virtualisation hosts, database servers or long-running compute nodes that cannot tolerate silent data corruption. Systems limited to 1.5V-only memory controllers or registered DIMM slots cannot use these modules.

Align the notch on each 240-pin DDR3 module with the slot key, press straight down until both retention clips click, and do not force the module backwards — the notch is off-centre so it only fits one way.
No routine maintenance is required; the ECC function corrects single-bit errors automatically, and the modules only need replacement if the system logs uncorrectable errors or fails memory diagnostics.
The CAS latency of CL11 at 1600 MHz sets the timing floor, so under continuous workloads the memory controller hits the latency ceiling before voltage or thermal limits become a factor.
