Convert M.2 SATA SSD to 2.5in SATA
This open-frame adapter lets you install a B-key M.2 SATA SSD into any 7mm or larger 2.5in SATA bay. It accepts full-length NGFF modules including 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes. The steel bracket provides mechanical support while exposing the drive for airflow. It is not compatible with M.2 NVMe or PCIe SSDs.

The open steel frame allows air to circulate directly around the M.2 module, helping to dissipate heat without adding a fan. Power is drawn solely from the host SATA 7+15-pin connector, so no extra cables or external supply are needed.
