Nano USB adapter for desktop and notebook

The TL-WN725N is a 150Mbps wireless N nano USB adapter that connects a desktop or notebook computer to a 2.4 GHz network. Its miniature form factor lets it sit flush against the USB port so it does not block adjacent interfaces. The adapter supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and operates on the 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz frequency band. It is compatible with Windows XP through 10, Mac OS 10.9 to 10.15 and Linux Kernel 2.6.18 to 4.4.3.

Low heat and silent operation with USB 2.0 power

The device draws power directly from a USB 2.0 port and has no moving parts, so it runs silently and generates minimal heat during normal use. An internal antenna handles transmission at up to 150 Mbit/s using DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, OFDM, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C with humidity tolerance of 10% to 90% non-condensing. A single status LED indicates link activity without adding visual distraction.

Plug-and-forget design frees up space and ports

Measuring 0.73" by 0.59" by 0.28" and weighing 0.07 oz, the nano adapter can remain inserted in a laptop or desktop when moving between locations. It supports both ad-hoc and infrastructure wireless modes along with 64/128 WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption for secure connections. The package includes the adapter, a resource CD with a 14-language utility and a quick installation guide. Driver installation may be required and the latest drivers are available from the manufacturer website.
