The device draws power directly from a USB 2.0 port and has no moving parts, so it runs silently and generates minimal heat during normal use. An internal antenna handles transmission at up to 150 Mbit/s using DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, OFDM, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C with humidity tolerance of 10% to 90% non-condensing. A single status LED indicates link activity without adding visual distraction.

Plug-and-forget design frees up space and ports

Measuring 0.73" by 0.59" by 0.28" and weighing 0.07 oz, the nano adapter can remain inserted in a laptop or desktop when moving between locations. It supports both ad-hoc and infrastructure wireless modes along with 64/128 WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption for secure connections. The package includes the adapter, a resource CD with a 14-language utility and a quick installation guide.
