Server board for Xeon E5 builds
The YINGHUA X79G is an LGA 2011 server motherboard that accepts Xeon E5 V1 and V2 processors such as the 2620, 2630, 2640, 2650, 2660, 2665, 2670, 2680 and 2690. It provides four DDR3 slots for up to 16 GB modules each, an M.2 NVME slot, two SATA 3.0 ports and a single PCI-E X16 graphics slot. A 24-pin and an 8-pin connector deliver power to the 7+1 phase VRM.
Suits home-lab and budget GPU servers
This board fits builders who need a low-cost platform for multi-core Xeon CPUs and want NVME boot storage plus a discrete graphics card. It does not suit buyers who require integrated graphics, more than one x16 slot, additional SATA 3.0 ports, or memory types other than DDR3.
Deciding spec: four DDR3 slots with ECC support
The maximum memory capacity is 64 GB across four slots using non-ECC, registered ECC or unbuffered ECC DDR3 modules. If your workload demands more memory channels, higher capacity per DIMM or a newer memory standard, this motherboard will not meet the requirement.

Spørgsmål om denne vare
Will the 24-pin and 8-pin power connectors need replacement after long-term use?
The board uses standard 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors rated for the platform's lifespan; they do not have a scheduled replacement interval.
What limits sustained load first on the X79G with a 16-core Xeon?
The 7+1 solid-state VRM phase count is the first bottleneck under continuous heavy multi-core workloads.
How loud and hot does the VRM area get when the board runs 24/7?
Passive VRM heatsinks stay warm but silent; add case airflow over the 7+1 phase area to keep temperatures in check.
