Dual-chamber Micro ATX cube

The Fractal Design Node 804 is a micro ATX cube case built from aluminium and steel with a black acrylic side window. Its dual-chamber layout isolates the power supply and drive cages from the motherboard and graphics card to improve thermal separation. The case accepts Micro ATX and Mini ITX boards and mounts an ATX power supply up to 260 mm deep at the rear.

Straightforward build with included fans

Three Silent Series R2 120 mm hydraulic-bearing fans at 1000 RPM come pre-installed — one at the front and two at the rear — and a front-mounted fan controller lets you adjust speeds without software. Removable dust filters cover the main intakes. The drive system uses tool-less trays for the eight 3.5" positions and the two dedicated 2.5" SSD slots, while two extra positions accept either 3.5" or 2.5" drives and a slim optical bay is available.

Eight 3.5" bays and 320 mm GPU room

The chassis holds up to ten 3.5" drives when the extra positions are used, plus two dedicated 2.5" SSD mounts, giving ample capacity for a storage-heavy build. Graphics cards up to 320 mm long fit comfortably, and CPU coolers up to 160 mm tall are supported. Liquid cooling headroom includes a 280 mm or 240 mm radiator on top, a 240 mm unit at the front and a 120 mm unit at the rear, allowing up to four radiators in total.
