Socket Compatibility

The board uses the LGA 1151 socket for Intel 300 series chipsets and accepts 8th and 9th generation Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors. It is not compatible with older LGA 1151 CPUs so the processor choice decides whether the motherboard works at all.
