The MAIWO K108U is a single-bay dock that connects a 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe SSD to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port at up to 10Gbps. It uses the ASM2362 controller with UASP support for faster transfers on Windows 8 and later. The transparent enclosure includes a 12V3A power adapter, a C-to-C cable and a C-to-A cable for broad host compatibility.

Host port and drive type to verify

Your computer must provide a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C or Type-A port able to deliver 10Gbps bandwidth. The dock accepts only 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe PCIe drives up to 14TB; it does not support 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA SSDs or hard drives. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS or Linux.

Semi-open chassis for sustained throughput

A semi-open metal base with four rubber feet acts as a passive heatsink so the SSD stays cooler during long copy jobs. The 12V3A adapter supplies steady power with over-voltage, short-circuit and peak-voltage protection, preventing throttling that can appear when bus-powered enclosures hit their limits. A blue LED shows power, activity and sleep states at a glance.
