Rack-mountable 1500 VA UPS

The Minuteman EXR1500RT2U is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1500 VA and 1350 W. It fits a 2U rack, wall or tower footprint and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets for connected equipment. The unit accepts an input range of 80 to 164 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz with auto-sensing frequency. A built-in LCD panel reports status for network closets, security systems and education networks.

Sine-wave output under load

The UPS delivers a pure sine-wave output at 120 VAC regulated between 101 and 136 VAC. Automatic voltage regulation corrects fluctuations without draining the battery, preserving runtime for genuine outages. At full load the internal battery supports 2.5 minutes of operation; at half load it extends to 9 minutes. The replaceable BM0087 battery module allows service without removing the chassis.

Management ports and surge limits

Connectivity includes DB-9, USB and RJ-45 interfaces for monitoring and graceful shutdown software. Surge protection covers the AC path with a 1000 joule rating and adds 1 Gbit RJ-45 Ethernet in/out protection for data lines. The unit operates from 0 to 40 °C in 0 to 95 % non-condensing humidity and carries cULus, FCC Class B, CE, NOM, EnergyStar 2.0 and RoHS2 approvals.
