Server memory upgrade for HP ProLiant Gen10

This OWC kit supplies 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory in a matched pair of 64GB modules. It is built for HP ProLiant DL560 Gen10, DL580 Gen10, DX360 Gen10, DX380 Gen10 and DX560 Gen10 servers. The modules will not work in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs.

Sustained-load behaviour with ECC registered design

The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, helping stability when all channels are populated at 2933 MT/s. ECC corrects single-bit errors and detects multi-bit errors during continuous operation. JEDEC-standard timings of CL21 at PC4-23400 are maintained under extended workloads. Backward compatibility lets the kit run at 2133, 2400 or 2666 MT/s if the platform requires it.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

Each module operates at 1.2V without a heat spreader, relying on server chassis airflow for cooling. Power consumption stays within standard DDR4 registered DIMM limits for the rated speed. The design adds no moving parts, so acoustic contribution is zero. ROHS-compliant construction avoids restricted substances.
