The Partaker A29 is a fanless all-in-one computer built around a 17-inch capacitive touch display with an IP65-rated flat front panel. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i3-5005U processor with 8 GB of DDR3L memory and a 512 GB SSD. The 5:4 aspect ratio screen delivers 1280×1024 resolution at 250 cd/m² brightness and full viewing angles for reliable HMI use in automation environments.

Upgrading from older fanless HMIs

This unit replaces legacy panel PCs that lack dual Gigabit LAN, multiple USB 3.0 ports, or modern OS support. The jump is worth it when a project needs dual COM ports for RS232/485, Mini PCIe expansion with a SIM slot for cellular modules, and an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C. The 50-million-touch rated screen and passive aluminum cooling also remove moving-part failures common in earlier designs.

Installation and common pitfalls

Mounting options include embedded, wall, desktop or cantilever setups using the supplied clips; the embedded cut-out measures 389×321 mm. A 12 V DC input is standard with an optional 9–36 V wide-voltage range for unstable supplies. Installers should verify Mini PCIe card height clearance and ensure the mSATA and 2.5-inch SATA bays are populated before sealing the enclosure, as post-mount access requires disassembly.
