Fanless aluminium chassis

The Streacom FC10B-ALPHA is an all-aluminium fanless chassis designed for silent media-centre or HTPC builds. Premium grade 6063 alloy with 4 mm thick extruded panels forms the structure and doubles as a heatsink. It accepts Mini ITX, Micro ATX and full-size ATX motherboards. The black sandblasted finish suits living-room placement.

Heatpipe cooling and flexible layout

Heatpipe Direct Touch cooling transfers CPU heat to the case walls without any moving parts. A pivoting drive cage simplifies component installation inside the enclosure. Two full-height expansion slots are provided, the upper allowing 300 mm cards and the lower 190 mm cards, though a flexible riser is required. Front I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports on left and right sides using a 19/20 pin header.

Storage capacity and expansion limits

Up to five 3.5 inch drives can be fitted depending on the internal configuration chosen. Alternatively the cage supports a maximum of four 2.5 inch drives. No power supply, optical drive eject button, front audio, eSATA, card reader, remote module or front display are included. Builders needing more than two expansion slots or integrated front audio should consider other enclosures.
